Karl, Eric and I started this run from Cathedral Cove at 530am and followed Dunn Road up to the d8 dozer that Mr. Dunn abandoned up in the hills. There was a nip in the air for the first hour or so and then it warmed up as we watched the sun peak over the mountains to say hello. We heard the early birds starting to wake up. It was peaceful and calming despite the pumping legs, arms, heart and lungs. The out and back was around 13km and 583 meters of climbing.
